The Seventeenth Keswick Jazz Festival 2008 from Wednesday 7th - Sunday 11 May 2008 A five day festival comprising over 120 jazz events. The 12th Annual
Beer Festival will take place on Friday 6th & Saturday 7th June 2008.
The christian convention is later in the year.
A little further
afield you can organise canoeing & kayaking on Derwentwater, go tandem
paragliding over the Borrowdale Valley, take a guided motorcycle tour
of the lakes and fells, cruise Derwentwater with Keswick
Launches, enjoy a play or concert at the Theatre
by the Lake, visit the unique Rheged
exhibition, become a Lake District cowboy for the day out pony trekking,
flex your muscles rock climbing or mountain biking.
If the above sounds
too energetic why not just sit and enjoy the magnificent Lakeland scenery
or walk by the lake and unwind to the sound of gently lapping water.
